The gift of life

Life is a gift, only the living have the luxury of deciphering.

There are two types of gifts, the boxed and the unboxed gift. 

Boxed gift, one has no idea of the content, it is filled with curiosity and surprise. 

Unboxed gifts come as they are, so you are aware of what to expect. 

Life and Death are boxed gifts, but let’s talk about Life. Life is a boxed gift and every unravel is a surprise. 

We grow in awareness and we learn by experience. Our gratitude is usually controlled by expectations, but gratefulness is bodied by contentment.

Have you noticed that the  little things of life are the most neglected but the most important when deprived of, Have you ever seen someone been deprived of Air and you got to know the cost of Oxygen per hour.. Oxygen A perfect example of what we did get freely, but the least cognisant.

How often we lay more emphasis on things we could have had and the very things we have is neglected.

Awareness is a strong hold for insatiability of man and Change is the only thing constant in life. What we are not Aware of we are usually not bothered about, for instance: The “eyes” I May have not felt the need to appreciate or not appreciate my eyes, I may have lived as though my eyes are not outmost important, but right after I see a blind person , then I grow great admiration and thankfulness for what I have. Is life a gift to people with disabilities from birth or in general ? Do they consider living as liabilities a gift? 

Even he who have a Disability becomes thankful for life when he sees someone in a more serious and life threatening situation. So life is a gift..
